Hello,
I find the idea to take a cloud not bad. But I regret that in this picture you add too much noise. For me, a cloud is a symbol of sweetness and here I don't have this feeling at all. That's sad because this cloud has an interesting structure. It's not just a cloud in the sky. It's a beautiful cloud with personality (if I can say that)...
Otherwise, I find that there is a good play between shadow (on the left) and light (in the biggest part of the composition - on the right).
But I repeat... I don't find that this noise avantages your composition.

It's beautiful, in its abstraction. It looks like water going out of a full dam, more than with a cloud.
That grain that 'aimee' didn't like gives it a nice impressionist touch that goes very well with the compo.
Like Anton 'edal', I am also curious about how you shot it.
