Kaçkar Dağları ile başlamışken dağlarla devam ediyorum. Hem de tam Ramazanlık... Mekke'de Nur Dağı... Hira Mağarası bu zirvede... Kuranı Kerim'in peygamberimiz Hz. Muhammet'e inmeye başladığı yer... "Oku yaratan Rabbinin adıyla oku, O insanı bir kan pıhtısından yarattı."

Hira Cave
On the way to Mina, two miles from the Holy City of Makkah, on Jabl al-Nur is the Cave of Hira, a small cave about 3.5 meters long and a little over 1.5 meters wide. Here the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) found the solitude he needed to meditate. Here, on 17th of Ramadan (9th lunar month) in 611, he received his first divine revelation.

Read (O Muhammad) ! In the Name of thy Lord who created,

Created man out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood,

Read ! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,

He who taught (the use of the) Pen,

Taught man that which he knew not.
At such times Muhammad (peace be upon him) would retreat from the city to a cave (Hira cave) on al Noor Mountain at the outskirts of Makkah.

Que beleza de ponto de visão sobre esta cidade entre estas montanhas , bem árido o local sem vegetação ou alguma árvore , gostei deste primeiro plano com os turistas , boa profundidade de foto , parabéns!!

So you have done the Hadj and now belong to the happy ones ! I don't remember having seen many Mekka photos on TE, so it's good you show it to us, from this pov we can see how the city is laid between the mountains, nice inclusion of people in the corner

Merhaba Ahmet Bey, görmeye alıştığımızın dışında, değişik bir jeolojik yapısı varmış Hira Dağı'nın. Herhalde sabahın erken saatlerinde veya akşamüstü çektiniz. Yoksa güneşten durulmazdı. Mağaranın fotoğrafını da WS'ye koysaydnız keşke. Elinize sağlık.

Indeed a place of meditation far from the urban tumult which one can see in bottom… Splendid and interesting panorama, the point of view is vertiginous. Well done Ahmet and thank you for the instructive note.
