Shawerma one of the most popular food here in Saudi Arabia. The serving normally starts at lunch till midnight in either sandwich or in the plate. I enjoyed a chicken shawerma from lebanese resto and from Turkish resto for my beef shawerma. Here's more info for this wonderful & delicious food from wiki.
Shawarma (Arabic: شاورما), also spelled Chawarma, Schawarma, Shawirma, Shwarma, Shuarma, Shawerma, Shoarma, Schwarma, Shoermeh, Siaorma, or Shaorma) is a Middle Eastern Arabic-style sandwich-like wrap usually composed of shaved lamb, goat, chicken, turkey, beef, or a mixture of meats. Shawarma is a popular dish and fast-food staple across the Middle East; it has also become popular worldwide. Shawarma is known as guss in Iraq; it is similar to the gyros of Greece or the Turkish Döner Kebab.
The classic shawarma combination is pita bread or taboon bread, hummus, tomato and cucumber, and the shaved meat itself. Typical additional toppings include tahini, pickled beets and amba.

"Naka-paglalaway ito." When we were in Greece while on the road touring, we usually buy gyros for lunch. This is unusual cooker though, instead of long electric burners they are using 4 regular circular burners. I guess it is cheaper to assemble. You could have done a closer crop on the photo by removing part of the top and bottom that do not tell the viewer anything.
