Some things that always strike me about Mekkah, is the spotlessly clean white marble floors, the masses of people all dressed in white and I'm sure the atmosphere would have been quite intense. I'm guessing it was outside of Hajj time, as it would appear less crowded than on other pictures I have seen. Well done and thank you for sharing this picture.
