This is the Afyon Monument by Heinrich Krippel,1936.
You can see the metaphore of the relation of the body and the state in the Afyon Monument, in which Kripple expresses a war with two figures.

Soundtrack: "Piano Sonata No:6 by Sergey Prokofiev". This is a trilogy of 'War sonatas' (no:5,6 and 9), completed in 1940, 1942 and 1944 respectively.

slm bu Utku anıtını çevresinde epeyce dolaştım durdum bir kaç karem oldu.henuz yukleyemedim .altta yatan düşman figürünun baştarafından bir açı ile çekilen fotolar da vurgu daha muthiş bence .eminim sendede vardır .bu açıdan düşman silueti bana biraz plajda yayılmış bir şahıs gibi geldi .fotonun adıda hiç hoş olmamış sory! iyi çalışmalar.

sende afyondan yüklemişsin, tarihe baktım senin ki eski bir kareymiş...
bu anıtı hatırlar gibiyim ama tam olarak emin değilim (afyona iş için gittiğim için pek gezme fırsatım olmadı onun için fazla dikkat edemedim)
bana göre fotoya bakınca isim yakışıyor, her ne kadar iyi bişey olmasada fotoyu anlatıyor bence...
ellerine sağlık başarılı bir kare olmuş

Nedendir bilinmez ama ben sahaları rötarla takipteyim maalesef. Sen de arşivi deşmekle meşgul gibi gözüküyorsun. Bu arşiv fotoğraflarını görünce "Neden sakladın şu canım silüeti" demeden geçemeyeceğim Zeynep.
Heykelse heykel, ama fotoğraf yapan da senin bakış açın bence. Ellerine sağlık diyor, birazcık daha kaz bakalım arşivi daha neler çıkacak acaba diyorum. Elini de çabuk tut ama, birbirinden güzel bebek portreleri istemeye başlamak üzereyim :)

Excellent message, Zeynep. Not easy to be a best man. Even if we have good intentions, most of the times stuff just happen and parts of our body do things we didn't know it was possible . Fantastic silhouette. That hand dominates the whole image.

Merhaba Zeynep Hanim. A powerful image in B&W. Reminds me of the powerful moment in S. Kubrick's film Space Odessey when the ape/man pick up the thighbone and starts smashing things, including the skull of another ape. We haven't stopped since. Selamlar. Klaudio.
