Autumn in Aphrodisias - III Photo

Photographer’s Note

On 24th October a new museum hall, financed by the Geyre Foundation, which supports since 1986 the excavations in Aphrodisias, and of whom I am a board member, was been opened.
At the end of the day there was a classical concert in the antique odeon of Aphrodisias.
Here at back the tempel of Aphrodite seen from the Odeon and a glass of white wine of the region. A great toast to all Aphrodisians and Aphrodisias lovers !

24 Ekim Cumartesi günü, Afrodisias'ın yenilenen müzesi büyük bir törenle açıldı.
Bu müze salonu da, geçen sene açılan Sebasteion salonu gibi, 1986 yılından beri Afrodisyas kazılarına destek veren ve benim de yöneim kurulu üyesi olduğum Geyre Vakfı tarafından finanse edildi.
Günün sonunda şehrin antik odeonunda bir klasik müzik konseri verildi.
Bu görüntü, Odeon'un üst sıralarından, arka planda gözüken Afrodit mabedine doğru çekildi. Ön planda ise yörenin üzümlerinden yapılmış bir bardak beyaz şarap.
Afrodisyaslıların ve de Afrodisyas sevenlerinin şerefine !
