Photographer’s Note

Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site in south-western Turkey in the Denizli Province. The city contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water. It is located in Turkey's Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which has a temperate climate for most of the year.

I was just viewing all of your photos of Pamukkale. You captured great color and textures. Amazing location. Reminds me of some of the sites at Yellowstone here in the states.

This is a beautiful pic from Pamukkale. The colours are amazing and the bright blue sky reflects wonderfully on the pools. The sharpness is also very good and you can see all the details.
