Photographer’s Note

Bu fotoğrafı Uşak'ta çektim. Yol kenarında çalışan bu kadınları görünce durdum, bir iki poz alıp yoluma devam ettim. Sizlerle paylaşıyorum. İsmini alınteri olarak düşündüm, ama ingilizce karlılığını bulamadım. Şu İngilizlerin alınteri anlamına gelecek bir sözcüklerinin olmaması ne kadar anlamlı, ne kadar düşündürücü...

Aşağıdaki bilgileride wikipediden alıntı yaptım.
Uşak;
15 Temmuz 1953 tarihine kadar Kütahya'nın ilçesi olan Uşak, kendisine bağlı Sivaslı, Ulubey, Banaz bucaklarının ve Karahallı beldesinin ilçe haline getirildiği düzenlemeyle il olmuştur. Aynı tarihe kadar Manisa (1926'ya kadar Saruhan)'nın ilçesi olan Eşme ilçesi de (Güre, Sirge ve İnay bucaklarıyla birlikte), Uşak'a bağlanmıştır.

Uşak is a province in western Turkey. Its adjacent provinces are Manisa to the west, Denizli to the south, Afyon to the east, and Kütahya to the north. The province covers an area of 5,341 km² and has a population of 334,115 (2007 est). The population was 322,313 in 2000.

kompozisyonu, titiz kadrajıyla nefis kare olmus.
Tabii bu arada memleketin bir klasik durumunu da gözler önüne seriyor. Sicagin altinda kadinlar calisirken buyuk ihtimalle erkekler ya kasabada ya da köy kahvesindedirler.

Güzel bir kare olmuş . Herhalde bu arada "amcam"lar da gölgelik bir yerde pişpirik oynuyorlardır !
Anadolu kadının kaderi bu.

TE.fazla rastlamadığımız,çok güzel hasat zamanı kompozisyonu.Bu tür işler tamamen kadınlara kalmış görünüyor artık,traktörü kullanan bey de bir ağaç gölgesi bulmuş uyuyor olmalı.Tebrikler, harika görmüş ve adeta canlı gibi mükemmel sunmuşsun eline sağlık.

Merhaba Ahmet Bey, başlık fotoğrafla çok güzel örtüşmüş. Ön plandaki çam ağacının kareye girmesi, arka taraftaki ağaçlar ve sıradağlar fotoğrafa derinlik katmış.

Benim en çok notunuzda belirttiğiniz husus dikkatimi çekti. Can alıcı bir noktaya değinmişsiniz. "Alın teri" gibi derin anlamı olan ve insancıl sözcüklerin batı dillerinde karşılığı ne yazık ki yok. Buna benzer örnekler çoğaltılabilir: "Afiyet olsun", "Sıhhatler olsun", "Kolay gelsin", "Gönül" vs gibi. Güzel bir noktaya temas etmişsiniz.

Elinize sağlık... (Bu sözün karşılığı da batı dillerinde yok).

A very good daily life shot in very natural light and colours. Perhaps a little less of the tree on the right would have been good. I like the combination of modern machinery and traditional methods. The women, of course, are the ones doing the work. This is true throughout history.

This is a wonderful rural scene from your country. It tells us so much about the farming there. You have timed your shot well as all the women are busy. Good use of the tree to frame the scene.

Wonderful framing with the evergreen tree providing FG detail and contrasting nicely with the golden grain. I can quite figure out what the men are doing but the detail of the men and their machines is excellent while the soft blues of the sky and mountain make an excellent BG.

Hello Ahmet,

This is a well balanced composition, where the tree is effective in framing the wonderful rural scene!
Threshing the grain is hard work though, in particular the dust can be bothersome...
A lovely composition with a fine feeling of depth!

Beautiful image, maybe a crop of the workers and the tractor is better for the nice clouds around them, anyway I find this interesting and good, compliments Ahmet.

I imagine that the heat of the summer should not help the labour of these women !!! A beautiful photograph on this agricultural work. It's a nice and vivid capture of the labour of those women. You chose the right moment, with the fork up on the air. I like the way the women are framed by the tree on the FG and also by the BG hills and sky. The image is graciously divided in 3 parts, each one with its own dominant colours.

the effort of these women are difficult ans serious tring to fill the mashine.These scenes there are not in the Greek county.A nice documentary shot that in a few decades will lost.Well done.

Ahmet, I am curious which is why I love TE. I never quite get how we miss or connect on the site but always marvel when it happens. I have scanned through your whole gallery and this one jumped out at me, it is alive. Most of the others are fine photos of wonderful landscapes but this one is absolutely great, it is a moment frozen in time, superb capture.
