Photographer’s Note

I took this picture between Çankırı and Kastamonu. When I was going to Sinop.

Geçen yaz Sinop'a giderken gözüm yol kenarlarındaki gelinciklerdeydi. Mevsim itibarıyla sayıları çok azalmıştı. Ancak Ilgaz'a çıkarken toplu halde gelincikler görebildim. Bu kış günlerinde iyi gider diye düşündüm.

I think I should visit your country some day in may or june,because here poppies are very rare....
A good shot,taken from agreat POV.Fine details at the blossoms and good contrast with the dark background.

Gelincikleri çekmeyi çok istiyordun, sonunda Ilgaz'da denk getirdin. Önde kırmızı-mor çiçekler arkada mavi-yeşil renkler çok güzel oldu.

Bonsoir, mon ami Ugur,
Voir le monde dans un grain de sable, et le ciel dans une fleur sauvage. Tenir l'Infini dans la paume de la main d'une simple fleur des champs.
L'image est en elle-même une poésie.

Beautiful scene, I like the DOF here, keeping the lower part razor sharp then gradually softens of. The reds ping from the screen. First rate sharpness and detail.

un bon panache de couleurs vives et bien distribuées , un air de printenps ou d'été qui nous fait du bien en cet hiver qui n'en finit pas.

What a beautiful picture. A joy to behold.
The colours and the layers of your composition are so pleasing. I like the red poppies and the smaller blue flowers which echo the colour of the sky. Also, the sharpness of the flowers and slight blurriness of the hills is good use of shallow DOF. Well done.

I like this Spring capture that gives a fresh breath of air to the cold of these days. The low POV emphizes the beuaty of the poppies and the bright colors give a feeling of festivity. Nice 1/2 frame and sharp details.

Maybe too classic, maybe one more of thousands, but flower full landscapes are always beautiful and attractive pictures.
