taken in an ordinary mall in eskişehir.

you would probably break your cam and vow not to make any photos again, if you were the one trying to make this photo despite that annoying security guard. what is so special in this place which makes it forbidden to photograph?

Daha thumbnail'den "bu Deniz" dedim ! Kendine güzel ve tartşmasız bir imza yarattın, bu da onlardan biri. Herşeyi ile başarılı bir s&b kare. En hoşuma giden yanı da bu koskaca mekanda sadece iki canlı oluşu; tıpkı uçsuz bucaksız kainattaki bizler gibi.

birgün gazetelerde "fotoğrafçı makinasıyla güvenlik görevlisinin beynini dağıttı" diye bir haber okursan şaşırma... henüz bağıra çağıra kavga etme aşamasındayım ama son safhaya geçmeme az kaldı... sci-fi tadında güzel mi güzel...

askerlikte mantik aranmazmis ya, bu alisveris merkezinlerindeki yassah hemserim cilerde de mantik aramayacaksin..
ust kat ve tavandaki grafikselliktavan yapmis:) tam zevkime gore olmus valla.. modeller ve kompozisyondaki yerleri konusunda daha fazla ayni guzel sozleri yazmayacagim sen anla:) ama yazacagim ayri bir guzellik fotografi asagi yukari hizlica cekip iterken tavandaki cizgilerin hareketlenisi.. s&b acayip yakisms..
bu arada sevgili cengiz beyle tanistik.. hakkaten iyi insanlarmis.. kizi bana asik oldu:)

That is the question I always ask myself every time I enter a shopping center in Portugal. And, let me tell you, I do not care. I take photos until the first security man arrives telling that I can not do that. Then, I politely apologise and move away to a different spot. Never had problems with this.
I like your beautiful contrasted B&W shot. Well done.

I am no great fan of black and white picture, but you chose a very good angle, this care for excellent depth an,d good perspective.
I like the roof certainly through the special light and construction.

Alışveriş merkezinin kapısında çantamı aradılar,içinde makinayı görünce bakın kesinlikle yasak ikazında bulundular.Yok ben çekmiycem deyince inanmadılar doğal olarak!! üstüne heryerde güvenlik kamerası var dediler.Ve ,Bu kadar ikaz ve uyarı içinde çekilen bir fotoğraf olarak ,kadarjı ve kompozisyonu çok başarılı. 2/3 of graphic, and 1/3 for the walking couple, it's contrasted perfectly for a great impact, that's great B&W

A pretty vertical approach to mix the attractive curves on top, and the mood given by the couple... at the same time, good depth too, given by the lines on the sides...

(ps - I was taking photos of a shopping mall from the outside:
Security Guard: "Hey you, no photos"
- "Why"?
- "It's forbidden"
- "But if it was a Saturday, there would be nobody to tell me not to shoot"
- "Come back on Saturday, then"
- "But don't you know that to take photos on Saturday is against religious law?"
- "Are you religious"?
- "Come on, why do you care"?
- "It's my job..."
- "Just one or two, that's all"
- "OK, but fast"
(of course you can then take 4-5)

nice the B/W format of the mall with the roof to creates a great perspective from this POV that is taken.The two silhouettes of the two passing by people make the scene more interesting.Well done.

You tell me! What's great about any malls even in our country that 'Photography prhibited' is plastered all over?! Even under such inhibitions, you did well, not only compo. wise but also with the timing, becasue to me the couple seem to be in just the correct place below the 'orb' at the top. B&W suits this image very well, but the colour version (which i presume would be largely monotone), would not be too bad either!

Good morning my friend.
It's truth that I cut down a little my visits to the TE pages but I am always happy to have contacts with all my friends.
For some reasons i like photos in which people walk to the light. I don't know why. Probably means something special to me.
The most I like to your photo is the combination of this walk to the light and the very nice graphical effect of the ceiling's and the window's design against to the light.
