This photo was taken three months ago in the cultural centre of Haci Bektas in Nevsehir. I went to a foto trip with members of MERSIN PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY (mfd) . Semah is a kind of ritual dance. In this dance, men and women dance together..

Selam sevgili Ali Rıza,
Muhteşem bir siyah-beyaz çalışma olmuş.
Semah'ın sesi buralara kadar geldi !
Çok iyi ışık kullanmışsın. Arka planın tamamen siyah olması, ana figürleri iyice ortaya çıkartmış.

Merhaba Ali Riza. Great focus on their expressions and gestures. They seem to be in a trance, totally infused by movement and the sound of the music.lovely light- i especially like the touch of highlight on the woman's wonderful cheekbones. Selamlar. Klaudio.

You known that I no great fan of B&W, but here the quality and sharpness are superb.
It couple with this lovely pose, closed eyes and the hands make this image very attractive, exactly a dans pose, but her are these people pray by folklore.

They have deep and intense expressions, this is more than just folk dance : very beautiful and the B&W is very nice (but I wonder how were the colours ?)
