Photographer’s Note

Cappadocia is a big area, but its "heart", its "navel" is Goreme, probably the most typical small town of the region, and one of the most beautiful, for sure. Surrounded by hundreds of rocky cones, pigeon houses and lots of different and colourful valleys, it's a great place to start exploring Cappadocia. Picturesque hotels, taverns and coffee bars, there to cover the needs of the visitors.

Very close to Goreme, you should not miss the Goreme Open-Air Museum, one of the most visited spots of the region, with dozens of Cave Churches and Monasteries, where you can enjoy some marvellous Byzantine frescoes.

Nice night shot Hercules
I agree with you Goreme is one of the main centers of attraction in cappadokia. I was there 30 years ago and i do not remember that the city was right at the feet of these fairy chimneys! Unless this part has been constructed since

Nice place Hercules, beautiful landscapes and fine town within it. I have a wish to visit Cappadocia in future. Anyway you composed it in a great way. Nice light. Colours are beautiful. It looks like a fantasy world. Very good presentation of this shot. Well done.

This one is fabulous Hercules, a masterfully done image of a striking village.

The rock formations surrounding the village are out-of-this-world and create a very peculiar landscape. George Lucas might have been inspired by such a scene.

This is a nice blue hour shot with good blending of natural and artificial lighting. Your composition is fine with the rock formations framing the town. The lighting and colors are fine and the photo has nice sharpness.

Another of your wonderful blue hour shots. The orange tones from the lights compliment the blue tones so well seeing that they are opposites on the colour wheel. This does indeed look like a fairyland.

que bonita integración de la ciudad entre las impresionantes formaciones geológicas de Capadocia.
Y qué espléndida toma a la hora azul jugando con las luces doradas de la ciudad y los tonos azulados del resto de la imagen.
La gestión técnica es impecable, yo me fijo en cómo trabajas para intentar emularte, y el resultado final es una foto impresionantemente bella, con una gran nitidez.
