Photographer’s Note

I took this picture at the center of Sivas.
Double minaret madrasa and Şifaiye madrasa are 13th-century Seljuk architecture.

Doğu Anadolu turumuzun ilk durağı Sivas idi. Fotoğrafta şehir merkezindeki Selçuklu eserleri olan Şifaiye ve Çifte Minareli Medreseleri ile bir Osmanlı eseri olan Kale Camii görülüyor.

İşte gelmiş bile "ilk kare"..Gökyüzünün pürüzsüzlüğü-polarizerin tonlaması çok güzel.Tarihsel açıdan da benzersiz bir mimariye tanıklık etmiş bu çerçeve çok değerli.Yapılan minare-kubbelerin paralelliği de gözden kaçmıyor hani.Sarı soft ışığın dokunuşunu saklarsak-hakkını yeriz bu fotoğrafın.
Selamlarla hocam-devamını ilgiyle ve büyük bir heyecanla bekliyoruz.

I find your picture very nice, perhaps one advice, makes your vertical frame right with a tool in photoshop. The framing is very good and the sharpness is excellent

Merhaba Ugur,

I was in Sivas a couple of years ago and was very disappointed to have to peek through a wooden fence to catch a glimpse of this beautiful medrese, which was in a really terrible state back then. I'm glad to see restauration work is going on. When finished, this will be a very, very impressive site.

A beautiful place, nice colours in photo. The mosque is very beautiful.

The perspective distortion on the left is a bit distracting. I tried to straighten it in WS. Not sure if it is better.
