Photographers Note
photo was taken in a village of Dogubayazıt in Ağrı which is at the far east of Turkey. the region has poor economic conditions. these girls were fightnig to have some of notebooks and pencils that we hand out during our journey to this region.
Additional note: the Agri mountain that is seen behind; is the highest mountain in Turkey.

iyi uykular Batı..Bir yardım kampanyasını duyup, biz de iki kalem bir eski kitap verelim gitsinle yürekler ferah tutulabiliyor ki. Nasılsa birileri topluyor, götürüyor, dağıtıyor. Öndeki kız çocuğunun bakışı, elini uzatışı, öyle çok şey anlatıyor ki. Arkadakilerin kalemlere sbakışı. Ve üç beş çocuk ama, hepsi kız çocuğu...
Biraz daha geniş açıyla alma olanağınız vardır belki.
