Photographers Note
(Photo taken in "Yayla karakolu" - no other name for this big summer settlement).
In the 'yaylas' or high pastures in east Turkey, where people live a rough life in stone houses just for 2 or 3 months, comfort is minimal and the children have to fetch water from a nearby spring. A mutlitude of geese among other animals are seen everywhere...
See also : other photos from the same 'yayla' + 2 photos from another one.
NB : Thank you Bishnu (bapun1) for the title !

Hi Cath,
Beautifull image, well capured.
The look of the cow is interesting... but the kid is in his own world...
Excellent image, rich in life.
All the best, dear friend.

Salut Cath,
Une autre image hors des sentiers battus. Petit regret que le ciel n'était pas de la partie.

You have a superb collection of documentary images on these people, including this one. Great daily life observations, with natural and beautiful expressions.

Hello Catherine,
this is another strong and admirable " live" scene,a great rural view and elements.the elements are perfect here in this composition that you worked nicely.the details and sharpness is fine, too.but the sky was not with you although it's not very important and I think this is very good for the view and the kind of motif here.nicely done,
Best Wishes

Chere Catherine,
quelle belle photo d'apres mon critere. Avec une petite drame des nuages sur le ciel, ce serrait parfaite. Mais, ca n'ampeche pas que je la prenne dans ma collection des preferees. Ca m'arrive souvent en visitant ta gallerie. Ca dit quelque chose.
Grand merci, amicalement a toi

You couldn't have added more activity per square inch here as you already have captured! this is something only you could have done Cath and still manage a beautiful view!

Bonjour Catherine
Good repetition of the ducks, with superb color & sharpness. The solitary cow, & boy in the red shirt, add interest. Merci!

I totally agree with Aadil. This beautiful view of geese brings in a lot of happiness when one see the photo.Shall we have "Say Geese!" as the title?
Regards,
Bishnu.

hello Cath,
daily life in the mountains may be tough but it is picturesque too. there is so much in this scene to look at. I like the cow looking over to the little boy struggling with his task. The geese forn a horizontal line and this helps the composition.I have enjoyed the series of linked photos, some I have seen before.
best regards
Bev
ps Would you mind if I give you a little lesson in English language? The plural for sheep is sheep. One sheep = sheep, two or more sheep = sheep. There is no s on the end. There is no logic to it but... :)
PSS more than one cow is cows, more than one goose is geese...very confusing!
