Photographer’s Note
Just a village, near of Silopi, near of the iraqi-turkish border, mainly kurdish people, mainly poor, mainly all of them full of the stupid political game between kurds and turkish.
They really do not want something, just live like a normal citizen of a normal country, without fear, without any sign on them 'cause they are kurds, with them own mother language, with them own music, with them own culture, without any differency... juts with the normal human rights. That kind of human rights, wich is a principal right of any human being.
But Turkish-Kurdistan is a "poor" area, and the global political interest forget one nation... cause they can not give any benefit of the ruler of our planet.
Cokurca Köy is just a village of the Never Been Country, the villagers are just a members of a "Never Been Nation"
"No friends, but the mountains..." (Thanks for Ferrus)
Unfortunatly now their mountains noisy again. Shooting, screaming, injured soldiers, death guerillas ... and a Nation, wich are want just stay alive ...
