Photographer’s Note
Although I'm not really satisfied with the quality, I wanted to post this picture from Turkey since a while to add one more country on my TE map ;)
I was trying (unsuccessfully!) to accurately locate this area on google earth but as there are no real significant features, it is almost impossible.
Nevertheless, it is situated at about 30 kms from
Pertek village...
Because my camera was inside my luggage, I had to borrow the one from Laurent who has it always around!

Hi Marilyn!
Fantastic aereal view, fantastic textures! I would prefer it a little bit darker and with a slight increase of contrast, but still, it's impressive! Congratulations!@

Bonsoir Marilyn,
Jean-Charles

The effect is very sculptural, Marilyn and the monochrome look works just fine. It gives a great sense of a mountainous and desolate place. regards Kevin

Salut Mrs Lyn,

It is interesting as it gives a general view of that landscape, and even as an artistic photo it is not bad.
Thanks for sharing

Bonjour Marilyn
A good aerial shot of the rugged landscape of Turkey. Excellent sharpness, considering this was shot from inside a plane. Bon weekend!

Bonjour Marilyn,
very beautiful natural formation. Nothing better than this pov for a better idea of the land. The quality is not bad as you think, I just think the blues were too much but It's easy to fix it in PS. I've tried that and posted it in the ws. I hope you like my version...but the photo is really good, I like it!

Carlos

Hi Marilyn, I love the way you have got this airplane shot so nicely. the shades and the hues are superb. There's a lovely pastel feel to this composition

Bonjour Marilyn,

bonjour Marilyn
Nowadays I always carry a camera into the plane. Just last week, there was a beautiful face in the place, the air hostess and I was very tempted to shoot her but decided not to waste my time, instead I shot everything I saw outside the cabin window. I like the aerial shots, although most times the color tone appear faded.
I like the jagged look of this landscape and it is something that I do not find in Borneo where everything is covered by rainforests.
Greetings from the Rainforests

Salut Marilyn,

Amicalement.
Marie Louise.
