127 years old but still beautiful.
This is the upper part of the fassade of a quite old building in İstanbuls European part.

It was been built in the year 1892 by the Italian archictect Raimondo D'Aranco.
It's a perfect sample of than famous Art Noveau style.
Old but still beautiful !

The sultan’s Italian architect, Raimondo D’Aronco (1857-1932), was invited to Istanbul in 1893 to organize a national exhibition that would celebrate the 20th anniversary of Abdülhamid II’s accession to the throne three years later. This project could not be realized because of a terrible earthquake in the following year. Nevertheless, D’Aronco stayed on to restore.
