Greetings Rosemary!
WOW, what an interesting landscape you've got. Very nice colors, nice contrast between the yellow and the blue tones. This provided us with a much clearer aand a closer view of salt terraces or whatever you call it? (what are these? are these salt terraces?). Nonetheless, both of your photos are very remarkable. Thanks for sharing!
All the best,
Matthieu

Hello Rosemary,
Very beautiful view of the 'cotton castle' with a splendid colour contrast between the blue white terraces and the orange and pink sky. The silhouettes of the trees and the buildings form a nice dividing line between the two coloured parts of the picture.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Rosemary
Magical capture of these pure white calcium formations cascading down the hillside with the late afternoon sun giving them an icy appearance. I like the sun starred on the horizon and the beautiful colour of the sky. Well done TFS

Hi Rosemary,
Another great view of this unusual feature. Excellent colours and patterns abound. The blue colour spectrum of the formations below go very well with the dark band of vegetation and orange glow above. Lots of great assets here to attract the eye. A good low point of view to get a lot of the area in the one shot. TFS!

Hello Rosemary,
The nice formations of Pamukkale's marble are well-outlined in this composition, because of its great beauty and the wonderful sunset tonalities, which you have caught skillfully by means of a good framing and an excellent management of the light.
There is a good balance between dark silhouettes and bright areas in the image, and I love the nice detail of the Sun that disappears behind the trees.
A beautiful work.
Best wishes,
Josep

Hello Rosemary,
This is a beautiful colour palette, as the warmth of the sunset contrasts with the snow & ice!
And the backlight effect enhances the pleasant scenery...
A great composition with very special qualities!

Hello Rosemary,
What a great photo! The colors are just perfect and this composition is also very good. I like the star effect around the light and of course those strange terraces that looks like ice and snow.

Hello Rosemary
I've seen quite a few pictures from Pamukkale, but the first I guess from the subset time. The light is simply delightful...like the sheen on the snow life surface of the steps. The contrast with the pastel sky is excellent! Fine work!

Hello Rosemary,
I uploaded two photo's of travertine rimstone pools at Huanglong on TrekNature and how pleasant to find yours of Pumakkale here. I think one can also enjoy oneself in B&W there. Lots of atmosphere. Well done.

Hi Rosemary,
this is a very impressive capture. I was dreaming about going there during sunset but it was a closed area and they told me it is probably closed in the evening. So I just watched it from a distance from the hotel.
You have captured the amazing contrast between warm and pleasant sky in the pink hour and spectacular but so clod here terraces.
The beam of sunlight looks fantastic here.
Congratulations,
M

Hi Rosemary,
I have looked at all your shots of the "Cotton Castle", and this is the one I prefer.
What a lovely tone of blue the setting sun put on the travertines !
I like the way you caught this sun, like a twinkling star, and the illuminated ruins of Hierapolis at the back ! Was that the sun too or electric illuminations ?
Thanks for sharing ; We visited the place the same autumn !
Kindest regards.
Marie-Louise.
