Photographer's Note

This portrait in my gallery is another famous turkish name. The painter Esref Uren. I portayed him just a few months before he passed away.
He was than 87 and painted even the day before he died.
This capture was been made during his last exhibition he kept in Ankara. I am lucky and proud to have known him and have a wonderfull oil painting of him, hanging on the wall of my living room.

Galerimdeki bu portre, başka bir ünlü Türk. Ressam Eşref Üren. Bu portresini ölümünden birkaç ay evvel çekmiştim. 87 yaşında öldüğünde, bir gün evveline kadar paleti ve fırçası elindeydi.
Bu portresini Ankaradaki son sergisinde çekmiştim.
Ona ait bir tablo evimin oturma odasının duvarında asılı.
Bu kare de siyah beyaz bir baskıdan tarandı.

Bonjour, cher Mesut,
Un portrait datant de 1983 présentant ce peintre quelque temps avec sa disparition.
Quelle fierté de posséder d'avoir réussi ce portrait.
Une image de collection.
