This is a great shot. It looks like it was taken through a window? I lke the way you have achieved sharp focus on the guys head and face and there is a slight blurriness because of the glass in the rest of the image. I think this adds to the picture overall. Very thoughtful and creative shot. Well done.

Hi Yagmur, this is a perfect portrait, with a lovely pose in marvelous light and clean background. This well composed image taken from a low angle and using simple composition rules makes the old man appear dominant.

what a lovely light you captured here!
I like the way the old man seems to "appear" out of the black background. I agree with Michael, the photo seems shot through a window - the result is similar to photos mounted on perspex or plexiglas, very smooth and "glassy".

Meraba Yağmur,

Buraya yeniden hevesle geldim ama buranın eski havasının olmadığını görmek motivasyonumu azalttı, tarzını sevdiğim bazı fotoğrafçı arkadaşları da göremeyince heyecanım azaldı açıkçası.. Neyse.. İffet ve sen hala burdasınız iyiki de .. :) Işık kullanımı nefis, iyi bir an karesi, kutlarım
