Photographer's Note

This is the impressive side chapel of the deservedly famous Green Mosque in Bursa. (Yeşil Camii, "Yeşil Mosque") also known as Mehmed I Mosque. The exterior is fairly ordinary but the interior as depicted here is exquisite. It dates from 1420 AD. More info from Wikipedia here:

Here's a shot I found of the section of the mosque partly covered with green tiles that gives it the 'Green' name.
