Window "Beauty", a photo from Sakarya, Marmara

Photographer's Note

A capture I'd made in Sile during my daily walk.
This cat (one of the many thousands of stray cats of the region was sitting in the window of an old and abandoned house and seemingly enjoying his situation.

Like in many districts of Istanbul also Sile (a famous summer resort 75 kms East of Istanbul) has thousands and thousands of unattended stray cats and dogs, and the citizens feed them.

According a new statistics, the pet food industry in Turkey has a great turnower which is almost double of the turnover of canned for for human beings :-)

Hello Mesut,
This cat looks like the proud owner of this abandoned house. Maybe it shares it with other stray cats seeking protection from the rain. You found it perfectly placed on the window sill, I only hope it doesn't cut itself on the broken glass. The rough wall and the wooden window frame helped you to e very nice composition.

quel beau chat sur sur cette fenêtre comme il nous regard avec ces yeux vert il est bien enrobé un beau pelage et cet endroit il ne faut qu'il se blesse avec le verre cassé superbe
