İstanbul under my wings, a photo from Istanbul, Marmara

Photographer's Note

Another typical scene of Istanbul taken from the board of a ship, travelling several times during a day from the Asian part of the city towards the European side and visa versa.
As a tradition, people feed the seagulls with bread crumbs and they follow the ships all te way long, which lasts about half an hour.

Très belle composition. L'image donne l'impression que nous faisons partie de ce groupe de mouettes en direction de la belle ville d’Istanbul .Belle lumière sur la ville.

A beautiful view of Istanbul, which bathed in such a wonderful sunlight here, which gave the city a nice and warm glow. The gull are well included as well and they look very sharp.

Nice view and composition with these birds flying, pleasant sun light well captured,I guess you've said that the wing at the top of the picture is cut, but always difficult to capture these moving scenes. tfs.

Hello Mesut,

Seagulls are very aggressive at the Belgian coast.
Of course when you an make a picture of from the ferry get we a totally other view.
It's a fine composition , the features sharply captured to make an attractive picture.
Sharpness en clarity are pleasant to look at.

Merhaba Mesut Many artists sang "You are the wind beneath my wings", while you titled so beautifully "Istanbul Under my Wings" to add romance to this attractive picture of the formerly-known-as Bysantium and Constantinopole city.

Beautiful light on the seagulls and on the city.
Great view of the bridge over the Bosphorus with a large ship passing under it.
