Following on from my post yesterday showing a paraglider getting the landing very wrong, this one shows how it should be done.
This is the uncropped image left 'as is' to show the amount of obstacles and obstructions the pilots have to negotiate to get to the official landing area. The landing area is immediately outside a row of shops, bars and restaurants and consequently also has a lot of pedestrian traffic. |

Hello again Keith,
Now I see it. This is completely serious if they missed the landing area. The pilots whould get a gold medal for every landing I think.
Not to mention the pedestrians.I myself have been a victim of pedestrian crash.. not in parajumping but in rollerblades.Aww.. I can feel the pain.
Nice catch to show the action.
Nice capture, it certainly looks like an obstacle course that has to be negotiated before they can land not to mention the potential danger to wandering pedestrians :)
Hello Keith, this brings back memories of my holiday in Olu Denis last year. I pre booked to do that jump with my wife but was told one hour before I was due to leave of a fellow who worked for a company that does this. His friend was killed that year and a German woman fell to her death onto the rocks the previous year and such reasons made him quit. He said some of the dangers and some use dodgy second equipment. Needless to say I canceled the jump as my wife would not go through with it. Anyhow great shot and well timed. Regards Steve.
Hi Keith
