Photographer's Note

This is the 30th photograph from my trip to Turkey.

This trekking/holidays lasted 3 weeks and its route includes the most famous and interesting places in Turkey:

Istanbul - Izmir - Selcuk - Efez - Dilek National Park - Pammukale - Fethiye - Saklikent Gorge - Olu Deniz - Antalya - Termessos - Kapadokya - Istanbul.

Oludeniz is situated just a 20 minutes drive from Fethiye and has an astonishing crystal-clear lagoon and a beautiful photogenic grey-white beach that adorns almost every Turkish travel brochure.

Rainfall is often heavy, with levels of around 1,000mm per year. This helps to maintain the many green areas around the beach which you can see on this shot.

Unfortunatelly there is not many footpaths so I decided to explore this mountain by myself. I managed to get to the peak and take a snap of this amazing view. You may get much nicer point of view even if You fancy paraglidig from the height of 2'000 metres over the Blue Lagoon.

Taken with 10d, wide angle lens and tripod to get the best sharpness.
