Selam sevgili Zeynep,
Sen de benim sevgili eşim gibisin. Truva veya herhangi bir antik kent denince onun da aklına sadece taşlar geliyor.
Bu kare grafik bakımından mükemmel ama bir başka "giz" i daha var ! Taşların üzerindeki sarı likenler sadece havanın en temiz en pür olduğu yerlerde oluşan bir yosun türü ! Bir zamanlar Amerikalı bir yarı iletken üreticisi Türkiyede üretim yapmayı düşünmüşlerdi. Bu üretim için en önemli özellik de , hava ve suyun en temiz olduğu yer. Yer olarak teklif ettikleri yer Çanakkale ve yöresi idi !

Merhaba dear Zeynep Hanim. I appreciate your postings as they tend to be multidimensional, where art, music, poetry and philosophy mingle harmoniously together.This photo is very evocative and reminds me of the Latin,"Sic transit gloria mundi."i had been to Troy and never would have thought of taking such a photo as we tend to go for the bigger view of things.I think Achilles is more my hero- the resolute, faithful and dutiful man, tinged with a streak of the tragic. yoktan -çoktan mı yoksa- var edilmiş şık bir abstrakt kare olmuş zeynep... ben de ne zaman bir antik şehirde dolaşsam taşlara dokunurum en çok gözlerimi kapatıp... binlerce yıl önce onlara dokunanlara direkt temas etmenin bir yolu gibi gelir bana bu...

anadolu yakasından gelecekler için de bi yol tarifi alsam senden... diğeri kadar karışık olmasın ama>:P...

what a view on history, I like the textures you present us with good quality and colours to enjoy them, but also based on an important piece of human history, that is great.
I do like very much Odysseus but the lost heroes like Achilles and Hector and the kings loosing their empires have no minor interest.

You have made a clever abstract from these old stones which have seen so much history. You have captured very good texture both in the rocks themsselves and the lichen. Good light and contrasts.

Olá Zeynep, the well known symphony is fantastic and the video is also great...Don't know much about the story...just something related with the giant horse with soldiers inside that made the the Greeks conquer Trojan...never mind. This seems just rocks to me :))) It's actually a very original way of presenting history (including the music) and the pic has an impressive image quality. And yes, the lichens are quite atracttive especially because of that tec quality.
I wonder how enjoyable this sunday was for you...

Merhaba Zeynep,
Interesting way of presenting such an iconic place. Well, as far as I know the place itself is quite deceptive when compared to its importance in Literature and History.
The rough stones covered with lichenmake an interesting image for its graphics, texture and also colour. Those holes remind a cavern.
I wonder why you choose that music that celebrates America for accompanying the photo.
My favourite character of the story is also Ulysses. That was the main reason I moved to live in his city (supposedly Lisboa comes from Olisipo = city of Ulysses) :D - according to the legend he founded the city while in his long way to the arms of the beauty Penelope.

The rocks and the yellow lichens create a beautiful pattern, that becomes fascinating considering their history. Just imagine if they had really seen the Trojan war; the stories the could tell!
