Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken in the desert, some 10 kms away from the main Dubai-Hatta Highway.
The lighting used for the foreground is the parking (dimmed) lights of our car. The lights for the middle section (orangish line) is that of the indicators of the car... and the distant silhouette is caused by a combination of the dusk and the highway lights some 20kms away from the spot where this picture was taken.
The Picture was published in the GULF NEWS English Newspaper in Dubai as the "Picture of the day".

Great shot. Looks straight out of the movie Dune. Very moody feeling to this one with an otherworldly quality.
