Photographer’s Note
Seen in Aden's fish market where fishermen were bringing in their newly caught goodies. Some quite amazing specimens such as these sharks.

Hola Daniel.

hi Daniel,
is that finger on the lower right part of day's catch? :)
jokes aside - love this shot, the unusual angle works very well, especially the strong diagonal of the water. I like a lot the textures of the wet sand, very nice work.
with best regards,
Kristine

Hello Daniel,
The tilt adds to the dramatic effect, but the hammerhead steals the show. A pity the people are a bit dark, but still this is an impressive shot.
Apparantly the catch is so impressive most people don't notice the finger. This calls for a repost?

Bonsoir Daniel,
Beau reportage

Daniel, those are the most useful warnings i've ever read in TE. Of course the sharks are such different attractions to see around here that it is really difficult to notice the "digit"al intruder. The tilt increases the fun, and it is a very nice idea to keep the shore in the top right corner, therefore we get the feeling of depth and persepective. I like the light on fish and the darkness on the face doesn't bother me, because i am mostly interested in the tilt of the fisherman's head. Quite a different one for sure.
Cheers,
Deniz
ps: you have to inform me about how much detail you know about Istanbul's hidden districts. of course there are many non-touristy places (ask Narayan the route we have strolled through) but maybe you won't prefer seeing those districts again and again (if you have seen them before, of course). for the blue hour, there are many preferences. We'll talk.

Salut Daniel,

Hi Daniel!
This one reminds me to Sao Nicolao in Cape Verde, the same black beach and architecture in the distance. The tilt works well here and I like te strong light, colors and contrast.
A great shot, but I like sharks more while diving than on my dinner plate, but I understand the locals, because it`s their only income.

Hi Daniel... I like this daily life scene, and the level of brightness applied... but of course after reading the notes on "the finger" (esp. the witty comments by Rigoletto), the shot gets an additional perspective... you know what, I'd leave the finger there, instead of cloning it out... cheers :) Daniel
