Photographer’s Note
I was walking down the old turkish quarter of Al Hodeidah and I came accross a few guys who asked me to take their picture. Since I was trying to get close to this one to get an interesting angle, he just kept laughing and couldn't control himself, so I just started clicking, and this is what came out.
AL Hodeidah is Yemen's second largest port. It is located on the red sea not too far from the horn of africa. This can be seen in the local population which shows a mixture of african and arabic blood.

Hi Daniel
This man's laughter is so contagious! It's set me off laughing myself. A well captured and well framed portrait. Nice work.
Best wishes
Mark
PS Having looked at your profile, did your office recently send out a Christmas card with Carcassonne by night on it? If not, ignore this!!

Hi Daniel,
You have taken so expressive picture. May be a bit more light would be better but anyway I like the compo and colours.

Denis

A bit dark as a face, but what a communicative great laugh !!!
Reading your note, I think that you took great advantage of the situation, better this than a stiff pause !
LOL...
Bravo,
Cath.

Splendid night captures from Oporto ;-) Olá Daniel, happy 2008 for you too. This is a very enjoyable moment. I can count how many teeth he have ;-) What I find interesting is the interplay of the painting on the wall with him. In fact, the whole background adds much interest.

ricardo
