Photographer's Note

Mulholland Point Lighthouse marks the narrow chanel between Campobello Island, Canada and Lubec Maine where the Gulf of Maine meets the Bay of Fundy. This channel is a thoroughfare for harbor seals that feed on the many fish that move on the high tides. At the end of Campobello Island it is common to see whales rising at the Head of Harbor which is two miles from Eastport, Maine as the crow flies and 40 miles by land.
