“The Start” is the name of this photo showing the second race of the morning at the 191st running of the Royal St.John’s Regatta. This annual event attracts thousands of spectators, who play various games of skill and chance, eat a wide variety of foods, and some enjoy the beer tent.

Hi Jim;

I like the POV you have here looking side on to the ladies and the shallow DOF really adds to the shot. But I think the shot could have been better having not cut off the heads of the ladies in the background and capturing less water in the forground...
Just my friendly opinion...
