Photographer's Note
Walking along the winding colorful streets of old downtown St. John's, we came across this scene. The traffic cones seemed to fit the colored row of homes so perfectly, all that were missing was a red tricycle!
I know the yellow house to the left is a bit tightly squeezed up against the left edge, hopefully you'll forgive me for that one! :)
Hope everyone has a great weekend, I'm off to work on a rainy Vancouver Saturday morning.
Cheers
Craig

Bonjour Craig
Vraiment typique des maritimes comme image. Il ne fait pas toujour beau, donc on met de la couleur aux maisons et on empille les couches.

Hello Craig,
This street reminds me of San Francisco with such steep slopes.
Superb perspective and beautiful and traditional architectures.
Good weekend!

Hello Craig,
Good capture of this row of beautiful houses with their facades all in a different colour.
Because the street goes steep downhill we also get a good view of the green hill behind the town.
The weather looks very nice. Are the summers in Newfoundland better (more dry) than in Vancouver ?
Best regards, Paul

Hello Craig,
You used skillfully the repetition of cones and facades. The point of view is chosen well. The light and neatness are good. Bravo.
Have a nice day

Hi Craig
imaginative and creative imagery here. You have a good eye for the unusual and this is a fascinating study. Great clarity and use of the fg colours to bring the whole scene into stark relief and also add depth. A clever and well executed shot.
Enjoy Sunday - Brian

Hi Craig,
beautiful charming "painted ladies". I like their diagonal alignment which goes well with the shape of the mountain behind.
The number of cables is annoying yet it does introduces a special atmosphere as well. Fortunately cars do not disturb too much.
Very well seen and captured, the architecture is remarkable.
