Photographer’s Note
On the drive across Newfoundland, I was surprised by the number and size of the rivers and lakes (called ponds for the most part, they are sometimes quite large!). This photo was taken on a Mars-bar break 2 hours east of Deer Lake, just off the Trans-Canada Highway.
