Photographer's Note

Fifty years ago, in early March, this place would have been buried under several feet of snow, and the river would be frozen solid, to only melt in late April. Unfortunately, today things are much more different, and we barely have any snow cover and the river has almost finished thawing completely.

This photograph was made in Parc Nature du Cap-Sainte-Jacques.
