Hello doug,
Photographed a zillion times, but it remains an amazing view and you have captured it well, in fine natural colours, a good composition and framing of the lake and its emerald colour contrasting so well with the grey and green colour tones.

Hello Doug,
This is a very beautiful picture of the Canadian Rockies.
The blue colour of the lake is wonderful and so different from the blue of the sky.
Very nice how the different colours of the mountains slopes and the forest are reflected in the water.
Well composed with the rocks on the foreground.

Very nice shot. You were able to get a good reflection in this one. After visiting, I can definitely agree with your sentiment of this being your favorite place on earth. Also not as easy to photograph as the dearth of shots of this place would suggest. The sun is often trapped behind the mountains or shining right in your face from the rockpile and their is often a stiff breeze that negates any reflection. You've managed to capture it without either of thise difficulties. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Doug,

The emerald green clean water, the blue fermament without a patch of pollution, the dense pine woods - one of the rarest of places where one can find the source of inspiration of life in this present age of death and violence. Fantastic presentation of this beautiful place.
