impressive nature view. stones to mountains...mountains to clouds... nice composition. Have you ever tried to take photograph this place in dawn or sunset? TFS.

Hi Doug,
An original view of Lake Moraine, very different to the other shots I've seen of this beautiful location.
The rocks and ice make a very nice foreground that's for sure.
Lovely soft colours, and superb composition.

Hi Doug,

I am suprised to see ice and snow on the lake near the end of June. The point of view leads our eyes toward the mountains which is giving depth to the composition. The forest and the mountains are framing well the lake. The intensity of the light has a good effect on the colors. have a nice day.

Hi Doug,

The low point of view really works here, emphasising the rocks and snow and reflections in the lower half of the photo.

By the way, I think you will find that this is Lake Louise, with Mt Lefroy and Mt Victoria in the background.
