Photographer’s Note

Johnston Canyon lies off the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park. There are several small waterfalls in the canyon. This one was my favorite because I liked how two falls converged into one pool.

Hi Colin,

This is a very popular place and yes beautiful to some extent. The view of the waterfall is excellent. It almost look like light emanating from under the water. Good exposure though a bit oversharpened in my opinion. Thanks for sharing :-)

I like how you've practically used the trees as a frame for ths small waterfall.
Also, its a nice 5 second exposure shot, creating that amazing effect on the water.
