Yet another early morning view of the tranquil reflections in Pyramid Lake. That's Pyramid Mountain in the background. Taken near the Pyramid Lake Lodge.

This is one of many scenic lakes near the Canadian Rockies town of Jasper, to the north of Banff National Park.

Hello Chris,
The early morning light brings out the colours beautifully. I like the contrast in tones and textures on each side of the composition and also the lovely reflections, which take on a painterly aspect.

Hi Chris,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The trees are framing well the lake. The point of view takes my eyes toward the mountain which is giving depth to the photo. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Chris!
I'm getting my canadian visa and my plane tickets by the end of this week and fortunately I'll be seeing this beauty by january! Plans to visit some of the east coast (to practice some french) and some of the west coast (to ski)... not sure yet!
Well, when I see those beautiful pictures I get even more anxious about it!
Sharpness, exposure, colors, dof, pov and composition are excellent!

Fine reflections in the rippled waters of the lake, but feel you could have left a little place in the lower frame to have the complete reflection. The contrast between the warm and cold tones is very attractive in the early mellow light
