Photographer's Note

Ready to hit the slopes? I know I sure am!

This shot was taken during the journey on the ski lift to the top.

I charish my time on the slopes, and I normally bring my Canon S50 with me when I do go; mainly due to the fact that it's a lot more portable then my full size Canon 300D. Nothing more beautiful then the snow covered trees, so much snow- you have to wonder how they support all the weight.

Mount Washington Ski resort is located just outside Courtney on Vancouver Island, and is the most popular ski resort (and best in my opinion) on Vancouver Island. From the top of the mountain you can clearly see Georgia Strait and across to the mainland. A beautiful site...

I wish I could say "I hope you enjoy this photo as much as I did taking it". - But I know you won't!

"I've dislocated my shoulder, cracked my ribs, and broken my arm. Pain is temporary- skiing is forever!"
