Photographer's Note

Perhaps the most important furnishing in the priest's bedroom, aside from a pot beneath the bed, is the stove pipe. Winters are cold. The pipes do not conduct a lot of heat, but they do conduct some. Of course, the priest will always snuggle down below his blankets, even adding additional ones. Winter is always a spiritual event as it encourages one to pray - for spring at minimum. The bedroom is also on the second floor.
