Photographer's Note

I continued my walk along 3 Street SE, to the north, and intersection with 7 Avenue SE. Libraries are a key institution in this age dominated by the Knowledge Society. Here in Calgary, the Central Library will, inter alia, offer a performance hall, with capacity for 350 people, an early learning centre, a history centre, free meeting space, a reading room with peace and quiet, in addition to the required books, films, computer equipment with wi-fi, etc. This will help confirm its role as the knowledge heart of Calgary.
