Photographer's Note

This is a picture of the recently renovated entrance plaza in front of the Gardiner Museum in Toronto. I posted a picture previously which shows how this area looked in 2008. Now there are two large ceramic public artwork decorating the plaza in front of the museum dedicated to ceramic art. The large "head" on the right is the work of a Japanese - American artist Jun Kaneko, made in 2002 and installed at this location in 2013. The large vessel on the left was installed last year, it is the work Toronto artist Shary Boyle and called Cracked Wheat, referring to the pattern shown on its surface.
