A sailboat is resting peacefully in this tiny bay.

Village is located around the small bay along the quiet road just West of Saint-Simeon .

Nice shot Robert;

Great composition with the boat slightly off center, and the beauttiful green backdrop.
Personally I think I would have cropped about 1/2 the water out- but that's just my opinion.
Good clarity and color.

Petit coin de Charlevoix que je ne connais pas.
Bien présenté et accrochant avec ce bateau rouge qui trouve écho dans les quelques érables rouges à l'arrière-plan.
Je suis d'accord avec Daniel qu'une soustraction à la partie inférieure aurait améné plus d'impact.
Je la troue très agréable à regarder.

This is a very striking photo! The red of the boat stands out against the blue and green of the rest of the scene, and that splash of colour is what makes this photo grab my attention. Great light also, with the sun hitting the tops of the trees and making them well defined. The rippled reflection is also wonderful. Superb!

Très joli! C'est très bien composé et la lumière est belle. J'aime bien le fait qu'on ne voit pas le ciel, seulement le flanc de la montagne couvert de sapins. Le rouge du bateau tranche avec le vert des arbres. Drôle de tête ce bateau d'ailleurs, on dirait presque une goélette turque... J'aime beaucoup de plus l'apparence de l'eau et les reflets, mais effectivement peut-être que tu aurais pu couper un peu du bas pour équilibrer mieux la photo.
J'aimerai bien savoir d'où vient le nom de ce port!

Excellent shot with wonderful colour contrast. The red ship is well placed inside your composition. Lighting and point of view are also very good. Well done!

Wow comment ne pas craquer pour celle-là le bateau porte fièrement les couleurs de l'automne et de son pays on dirait :o) Brrrrrrr il ne doit pas faire chaud dans cette petite baie.
