Photographer’s Note

My school is in Potsdam, New York, only a few miles from the border. On another side of the river is Ontario of Canada. We used to spend the weekend driving to Ottawa for foods shopping. From Ottawa, whenever there wasn't a favorite movie, we prefer to cross Ottawa River and spending time in the Gatineau Park that we considered our neighborhood.
This is one winter morning when we visited last winter.

It's hard to believe this photo has not had much attention. The colours and shadows are amazing and you managed shooting into the sun without difficulty. Hiding the sun behind the tree has reduced flare to a minimum. It possibly needs a little sharpening but other than that a beautiful image that obviously has fond memories for you.

This is a quality shot. Amazing texture & colours. The pinkish hue on the satiny snow, the silhouetted trees is quite magical. You've done well by keeping the sun partially behind the trees. Excellent shot!

i agree with angshu, the texture and colours has made the pic perfect. it is a tiugh job to bring out a pic from the mixutre of white, blue, pink, gold and black. well done.
