Photographer’s Note
Sooner or later we get it! A good snowfall that is!
This one hit Montreal last friday and it was the second highest single day fall with some 41cm. But the striking thing was that it snowed at the rate of almost 10cm an hour for a couple of hours. Montrealers are still digging out... many cars are buried under mounds of snow and this presents a challenge requiring physical energy and perseverance. It also presents a huge problem of snow clearing for the city of Montreal, which as it turns out is one of the most efficient cities at this kind of undertaking.

You might have got it, but we ain't!!! Here in southern UK it's still chilly, but mild -with no sign of snow yet (ugh!). Hopefully, we'll get some soon. Your lovely pic is a reminder of what might be! You have captured this very well...I love scenes like this, especially when the snow is falling. Good atmosphere, and I can't pretend that I'm not envious! Keep warm. Merry Christmas, Vicky
