The scene looks much more like a salt mine!!! It is amazing how the ice blocks can build up such hills. It is a very nice photo and I like that white line from the airplane crossing the sky. Well done.

Hey Donna,

What nature gives us. :) A fine reportage, nicely composed, with a lot of the details in the foreground, sharpness is done equally well, so is the balance of colors, perhaps it only lacks a bit of saturation or brightness (not sure). A fine photo.

Must have been such a wild weather to pile these ice to shore. Could have been better if a person was standing in front of those ice piles in order to give some scale of dimension if you wanted to emphasize the height of these piles. But overall a good photo with informative notes. Well captured and presented. Well done! tfs

It is interesting to see the effect of the wind on a large lake when the ice is breaking up, amazing indeed...
