olá,
very good photo with a good composition (except that half-bike). great colors and sense of depth. very well framed. congratulations. pedro
See, I knew I wanted THAT lens...to create better photos (lol)...
Really now, i like the cinematic feeling of this scene, ok partly because of the format and frame, but also because of a the spontaneity of the moment. Before someone comes and slices the photo in half in a proposed WS, I will add that I like an 'imagined' line of the triangle among the 3(main) subjects.
A nice shot, Kristaps!

Hey Kristaps,
Surprising and refreshing catch from Montreal. Love your composition and the way you cropped it. I think it's oversharpened though. I would also selectively increase the brightness in the upper corners. Despite my PP nitpicking, I think this is one of your best. Cheers!

I agree with Hakan, this is definitely one of your best - creative use of wide angle to add some spice to otherwise mundane scene, and I like a lot how you have captured that fleeting early evening light when everything looks especially crisp and sharp, and I don't think this photo suffers from oversharpening. also, it's one of the rare occasions when white sky looks good, and I have no problem with the half-bike, bycicles are notoriously shy (according to Dan), so this one must've been trying to hide ;) excellent work, my compliments.
hugs,
K.

Kristaps,
Interesting image with so much going on, I like the fact that you include all other photographers, which usually try to avoid and wait till they leave. Inteade you use them to your advantage. I especially like the fact the it show different ethicity. Great sharpness, good light and clarity, beautiful composition that include many elements. Thanks.

Charming production Kristaps, but...
You see, bro ... Montreal is nothing short of charm...
Montreal is a charming place all over...
But...
Did you try Murmansk ?
Or... Vlahova Gora in Albania ?
There...
Just joking, pal... Just joking...
Stay on track, friend... Let them to follow you...
Keep loving that shutter, man

Hi Kristpas,
it's a beautiful daily life seen of Montreal, with the tourists, the architectures and the photographers. I had the chance to visit this city in 2004/2005. I just love it! Your panorama crop fits pretty well. I also like the fact the bicycle is cutted (it's part of the image but it has not much interest in the scene, perfect). Great job!
Regards,
Carlos

Hi, Kristaps. Your wide angle allowed you to include a lot of things in your picture with mots of contrasts between cultures and colours. The women in the foreground make a nice triangle and there is also a good opposition between the classic style of the building on the square and the skyscrapers in the back.

Kristaps, great shot, very interesting the make up of your subjects. Color and sharpness is super and I think there is hint od the distortion of the very wide focal length. I like the workshop, it may be a good stand alone post too.
Greg
Hi Kristaps,
Good shot about the tourist' daily life. The elments are well placed in the picture with good colors and contrasts. Well done, regards, Consuelo

Hi Kristaps,
That's a very good picture. Colours are bright and construction is perfect. It's just a little on the sharp side in my opinion.
Cheers

Kristaps,
as per your shots done at Montreal I'm starting to believe that teh city is all about fountains. Is that true? Similar to Rome?
Nice note that complements the image and gives a flair to what expect in this city?

Hello Kristaps,
Superbe scène, pleine de jolis détails et de belles couleurs.
Bonne soirée
Marie
Another great capture. the sharpness is outstanding. I don't know about the bicycle though, something troubles me being there, or not.
The panoramic format you chose gave depth to your POV.
Great again.

hi Kristaps
I agree about the mystic of Montreal, it is such a mixed pot of metropolitan. From my several visits there, each time giving a different satisfaction, just like Quebec city.
Your shot shows a good viewpoint of visitors to this city of bilingualism. I find most dominant francophone here, and even more so in Quebec city. I like the photographers in this pov and nicely composed view.

Hello Kristaps:
It is a wonderful outlet, where you can appreciate a visual way, the role of photography at all levels of society.
The view is very beautiful, well-lit with a fountain and a fund architectural unparalleled. Good balance in the frame, and perfect management of light.
John
Hello Kristaps,
I find this lovely with the two black frames above and under, one tip, between your picture and the black frame make a small white line from 1 mm this gives better contrast.
Very good composition with the two photographers, but also splendid light in the fountain.
Very well done.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Kristaps,
I enjoy very much the dynamic you created here with your wide angle and the saturated colors. It's always fun to watch and catch people taking photographs! :-). The late day mood is lovely and the light/tone of the water very beautiful. Great note too, very lively, I sure hope to visit this town one day...
TFS and my kind regards

Hi Kristaps,
wonderful trio. Well composed with a good impression of the city too.

Kristaps ;-)
Seeing this one and your number 100 i have to confess that i like this one much more. There is almost devine light ont he building, but also detail, clarity and the way you placed the people inside the framing is wonderful. If i forget the 100 and see this one as so, than i would say congratulations on this number, you are truly a dedicated memeber to this site, glad to have you here..!!!
Have a nice weekend, Henk

It seems Montréal is a very pleasant place. The photo has a good composition and nice colors (except the statue almost not seen), and your note is also a pleasant description.

nice the your multiplicity shot with a lot of elements that make the snapshot interesting.I like the colors and the fountain near the model. In the WS the column is so high that hardly we can see the statue of admiral Nelson.Well done.

Hi Kristaps,
excellent use of the wide angle and perfect panoramic crop which artistically emphasizes the human presence. From what I've seen so far it looks like Montreal's been good to both of you guys.
Cheers!
Have a great weekend, I'll see ya soon.

Hello Kristaps,
This is a wonderful shot, with all kinds of engaging overtones, and a most complementary note to boot. I like the posture of the young woman photographing her friend. You have been absent from TE for sometime. Have you defeated the addiction of this site? Warm regards,

Three is one of the magical numbers of photography and your composition is almost perfect :) because of that. That half bike is spoiling the perfection... So you have 3 and a half subjects... But the triangle made by the three persons is enough to call this a winner. I love the clarity of this shot; the light as a crystalline feel I can't really explain but that I like a lot. The curve of the fountain base is awesome here. If it wasn't for that bike... :)
