Lake Chester and Mount Chester are located in Kananaskis,somewhere along the Smith Dorian Trail,approximately half distance between Canmore and Kananaskis Lower Lake.
The photo was taken a few minutes after 9am,and the light was still very good for photography.
This was a very special day because I got the first time on Mount Fortress,with my friend Roly.

E asa un amalgam de sentimente in mine,dom'le cand postezi tu !Pe de o parte imi vine sa te urasc pt ca ai asa ocazii sa vezi locuri minunate,pe de alta parte imi vine sa iti multumesc pt ca le postezi
O sa incerc sa fiu echidistanta(cu greu) si voi spune doar ca nu numai calitatea imaginii este exceptionala,dar si partea artistica e de asemenea .....

What a beauty ! an exceptional clarity . We feel to be on the banks of this wonderfull lake . As you write in your note , the light was fantastic for such a shot . And the refection is perfect .

Beautiful scene from Lake Chester, the reflections in the water with the rocks details make this image for me. The trees from the right that bend over to the left is a added bonus to the composition. Colours, sharpness and lighting are all excellent here. Well captured.

A very lovely and attractive shot indeed and I had a good time flipping through your album. I particularly like the reflections and the moods this shot is able to generate. The peace and calm, the beauty of nature are all very appealing and soothing for the soul. Your good handling of the lighting allowed me to enjoy even those areas that are veiled by the shadows while the clear water is also effectively presented. Splendid shot!!

Another "keeper", Nelu! If it were me, I'd have lightened up the shadow area on the left side just a wee bit, otherwise everything is just great! (PS: hoping to be back in Canada next April/May - can't wait!!)

I was on holidays in Canmore, few years ago. An it's a really lovely place. There is a lot of beautiful mountains over there. Your photography has beautiful colors and the reflection in the lake is just perfect. Wonderful.

It's the kind of scene that is so stunning that sometimes I wonder if they are real, as I am much more used to see them in big posters, those expensive photo books and... on the galleries of the best landscapers of TE...
