Hi Phil!
The result is interesting, eye-catching and very nice!
Pretty sharp, with a good light and shadow balance and... most of all, the nature itself, so beautiful!
TFS - Congratulations!

Hello Phil,
What an impressive image of a building quite unique on TE!
I would certainly not have managed to play on the white as you did.
Well done!

Hello Phil,
You've put your polarizing filter to good use in bringing out the most salient aspects of this "floating castle." Your note is complementary and engaging. I had known of the Viking settlement in Newfoundland, but I never knew the exact place.
Warm regards and have a good weekend,
Bulent

Hello Phil,
Superb form of this iceberg, and I would like to see my one, but in Spain there is no :-(
Excellent brightness, color and details. Well done my friend.

Maybe the left side of the "castle" is verging towards over-exposure, but I still think you have handled this difficult situation very well. Somehow there is a 3 D effect that leaves space between the iceberg and the sky. Well done

Hi Phil,
This is quite spectacular. The very presence of large glacial icebergs is stunning and your capture of these unusual shapes is exceptional. Great work and TFs. Gerald

Hi Phil,
It seems like I missed quite a few great shots from you. I will surely get back to them when I get a chance. I chose the latest one, 'cause this is really delightful! Looks like a sculpture! You handled the exposure really well, the bluish tones work really well.
Thanks for sharing,
Shaeri

Hi Phil,
So many shades of blue, really a sight to behold! Nicely exposed to maintain details in all areas and some shadows too. Thanks for showing, I'll have to try and see one of these myself one day.

Hi, Phil -
I was going to comment on the lighting, then I read your note and realized that this is about the best you could have done with the situation. And the situation - the composition - was certainly worth the effort. Looks more like Antarctica than Canada!
Best,
Dan

Hi Phil,
good title, excellent exposure..nature is the greatest artist.
Compliments, Chris
Hi Phil:
Nice shot here. Newfoundland is one of those places I've wanted to visit for a while, and this is one of the reasons why. I think the lighting worked out well. I wish it weren't as tight a crop, but that's an easy thing to say after the fact--hindsight really is 20/20, and it's a beautiful enough capture as is.
Clark
P.S. I read on your profile that you're an accountant. It's nice to see a fellow beancounter whose right brain hasn't died yet. ;)
